2nd bowling clinic starts on May 22

Monday, May 22, 2017

THE Sugarbowl Tenpin Association Inc. (STAI) will host the 2nd Summer Tenpin Bowling Clinic 2017 at Lopue’s East Bowling Center in Bacolod City starting on Monday, May 22, and on May 24 and 28.

Instructor Herman Santos of STAI said they added more advanced theories and techniques for the second batch since most of the participants have already joined the clinic last April.

“Majority of the participants are interested to return so we added topics such as improving accuracy, consistency of game, and enhanced stamina for intermediate bowlers,” Santos said.

“True enough, the addition of 10 more alleys had a positive response to the bowling community of this city,” he added.

The management of Lopue’s East Centre opened its newly-improved East Bowling Center with 10 additional tenpin alleys in March.

Three courses, Introduction to Tenpin, Basic Drills Practice, Mini Fun Game, and Intermediate Level Skills, will be held for a fee of P1,000 per person inclusive of T-shirt and certificate.

Joining Santos as instructors are Joyce Santos, OJ Lopue, Dan Corcelles, Tony Vasquez, Richel Gumban, Paulo Inocencio, and Billy Lopue.

For reservations, contact lane manager Grace Abelada at 433-5288 or visit the bowling center office at Level 2, Lopue’s East Centre Annex. (HGD)
